Alain Benedetto was born in Grimaud in 1953. Born into an old Grimaud family, he was born in the family home, where he still lives today. Attached to his terroir, to his village, he decided as a teenager to follow a training of carpenter to be able to settle in his commune. Passionate about this manual activity, he then specialized in cabinetmaking. He starts his own business at the age of 22. With his wife, he broadens his professional skills, opening in the 90s an antique store next to the cabinetmaker's workshop. Then, he transfers the store to the village, opening the House of Justine, an antique shop but also decoration he holds for almost six years with his wife.

Both will then hold the grocery store in the village for three years, before opening bed and breakfast in the family home, an activity they still practice with passion today!

Alain Benedetto is also, Departmental Councilor of Var and 2nd Vice-President of the Community of Communes of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
