By order of June 27, 209, the Prefect of the Var placed the entire department in a vigilant situation.

Under these conditions, it is strongly recommended to adopt an economical management of the water resource, including a particular attention for its protection vis-à-vis pollution and in a concern of solidarity, to take care of the general measures which apply in the daily use of water:

• limitation of water consumption in general and particularly vigilance on secondary uses
• It is advisable to limit the watering, to carry out them at night time, to favor the saving systems, to limit the cleaning of the cars, to limit the filling of the swimming pools to the only renewal, to wash the external spaces only with the strict quantities of necessary water, to seek leaks, set up rainwater harvesting systems for watering, set up drip irrigation techniques ...
• fight against leaks on drinking water or raw water networks (networks, fire poles and filling terminals of tanks, fountains ...)
