In order to raise awareness against fire outbreaks, Alain BENEDETTO and Thomas DOMBRY, the mayors of Grimaud and La Garde Freinet have decided to put up common signage. Its objective is to remind residents and visitors of the omnipresence of the risk of fire in the territory. As a reminder, 9 out of 10 fires are caused by a cigarette butt thrown into the environment. The signage prohibiting the use of fire takes up the visual of the old prohibition signs which are very identifiable by the general public.

About ten panels have been deposited in the two municipalities as well as in digital format on the LED panel in Saint-Pons in Grimaud.
