Extension of drought decrees until November 15 in the Var

The situation of the rivers currently remains very fragile. The last accumulations of rain did not improve their flows or recharge the aquifers. Weather forecasts to date do not suggest a reversal of the trend in the short term.

After consultation with the Water Resources Committee (CRE), the drought decrees are extended to all areas of the Var department until November 15, 2022, except for the bordering areas which concern the Durance, the upstream Huveaune and the upstream Arc , where they are renewed until December 1, by measure coordinated with the department of Bouches-du-Rhône.
