Synopsis
Knock, a doctor with an ambiguous appearance, has bought out Dr. Parpalaid's almost zero clientele. He will little by little spread a feeling of fear among the picturesque inhabitants of the village of Saint-Maurice and the entire region to submit them to the influence of medicine and its authority, by applying a "method" intended to make his fortune: to convince the population that every healthy person is an unknowing sick person and to find in each person the imaginary illness from which he suffers. This disinfectant work should be reimbursed by social security as it denounces practices and abuses that are still current, fueled by the desire for health and media youthism.
