Writing can change your life.
Writing helps us understand certain personal events, to order what is in our head and heart. By naming and describing our emotions, by reclassifying what is in disorder into sentences and stories, we can obtain clarity, an understanding of our inner story. Writing for ourselves offers a time to return to the intimate.
Designed as a workshop, this book offers you writing instructions based on 26 excerpts from writers' texts. Each exercise invites you to experiment with a particular form: letter, journal, story, haiku, style exercise, etc.
Imagined by Nayla Chidiac, a clinical psychologist who knows the benefits of writing in care, this resource book combined with a practical approach makes the therapeutic writing process accessible to everyone.
