Interment in the communal cemetery

The right to burial is strictly regulated.

"The burial in the communal cemeteries is due:

• to persons who have died in the territory of the Commune, regardless of their domicile
• to persons domiciled in the territory of the Commune, regardless of the place of death
• to persons not domiciled in the Commune, but having a family burial there
• to the French settled outside France who do not have a family burial in the Commune and who are registered on the list of electors of the Commune. "

Concessions can only be issued upon the occurrence of a death.
The burial of animals in the cemetery is strictly forbidden.

Funeral grants

The different types of cemetery concessions are:

• Temporary concession for a period of 30 years or 50 years.
• Concession of columbarium box 15 years.

A concession can be:

• family intended for the concessionaire (s), spouses and their children, ascendants, descendants, collaterals, allies, any person having a tie of specific links
• collective agreement for persons designated on the title of concession
• individual for one person.

Columbarium huts and the garden of remembrance are available to families to allow them to deposit the urns or to spread all the ashes obligatorily.

A garden of remembrance is planned in the cemetery, for the dispersion of ashes for the people who have shown this will.
It is forbidden to deposit flowers or any funerary objects on the space of the garden of remembrance.
The ashes are scattered free in the garden of the memory after having previously informed the Town hall.

The choice of the location of a new concession in the cemetery is determined by the Mayor and not by the family or the applicant.

Temporary concessions are renewable at the end of each period of validity.
The renewal can not be made earlier than in the 3 months preceding the expiry date.
Dealers or their heirs may still use their right to renew, from the date of expiry, for a period of 2 years. After this period, or in the absence of payment of the new fee at the end of this period, the concession returns to the municipality.
