The SNSM Rescue Station in Saint-Tropez is launching a new volunteer recruitment campaign for the 2018 season.
The rescue station of Saint-Tropez exists since 1952. Its mission is the rescue to the person at sea. By order of the Crossmed and the two siren shots of the city, the volunteers embark on the Bailiff of Suffren II, canoe all time, and pair day and night in 15 minutes. The Bailli de Suffren II intervention zone is important. It extends from the Titan lighthouse on the island of Levant to Cap Roux, on a strip of 60 nautical miles offshore.
