For several days, there has been an increase in burglaries in the town of Grimaud. Urbanized and isolated areas are affected. The population is invited to exercise extreme vigilance.

Residents can contact the gendarmerie at 17 or the Grimaud Municipal Police at 00.33.4.94.55.09.88 if in doubt about suspicious behavior.

Good practices to avoid burglaries:

• close the windows, even if you are present in your home
• close the doors and shutters when you leave,
• close the front doors when you are indoors, at the back of the house or at the pool,
• do not leave jewelry, cash, handbags in sight in your home or in your vehicles.

If you are the victim of a burglary:

• do not touch anything,
• immediately contact the gendarmerie or the municipal police
