As part of the centenary of the 1st World War, the town of Grimaud organizes various events to honor the duty of memory. The whole population is invited to different events.

The author, Saint-Cyrien, former auditor of the Institute of Higher Studies of National Defense IHEDN, has assumed important commands in the army and after leaving active service, high-level responsibilities in a group of French shipbuilding.
16h00: Inauguration of the exhibition: Grimaud in the Great War. House arcades, Templar Street.
Result of research and work started for 4 years, this exhibition presents the destiny of the Grimaud soldiers gone to the front as well as life in Grimaud during this terrible period. Are presented objects from families Grimaud and the work of school children.

10:00 am: inauguration of the armistice roundpoint of November 11, 1918 (roundabout of Saint-Pons-les-Mûres)
11.15 am: gathering in front of the town hall
11.30 am: Patriotic ceremony at the war memorial in the presence of Grimaud children
12:00 pm: procession to the cemetery for the flowering of the graves of the soldiers
12:30 pm: Republican aperitif in front of the Town Hall
5:30 pm: play: "As in 14" Beausoleil room
