The new tour of municipal services has detected hydrocarbon pollution on all Grimaud beaches and in greater proportions than previously. Given the scale of the pollution and responsiveness, the municipality obtained permission to intervene directly to clean up. The private company will be in charge of the evacuation of pollution. Access to beaches is strictly forbidden to the public as well as swimming.

Following the bad weather of yesterday, many traces of oil have reappeared on the coast of the town. The monitoring this morning has detected pollution on the beaches of the gros pin, camping de la plage and in Port Grimaud I. In accordance with the new procedure set up, the municipality can no longer intervene. The pollution was immediately reported to the company mandated by the insurance companies. In parallel, the strong winds also caused the stranding of a new sailboat. The identification procedure is in progress.

Access to all the beaches of the town is prohibited as well as swimming.
